Pastor

Bro. Byron Chesney has been in the Gospel ministry for over 30-years. Saved at 6-years old during Vacation Bible School. Called to preach in the late 90's, was interim pastor at a church in Corryton, TN. Ordained in 2010 and called as Senior Pastor of Highland Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN in August 2011 where he served for 8-years until August 2019 when the Lord called him to plant Porchlight Baptist Church, where he serves as the Senior Pastor.

Bro. Byron holds a Master's Degree in Ministry and a Doctorate in Theology.
